Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect
We collect the information you provide when creating an account: name, email address, and workspace details. We also collect release and incident data that you or your integrations (GitHub, GitLab, Slack, webhooks) send into Traken, plus usage logs and diagnostic data to keep the service running smoothly.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide, maintain, and improve Traken — for example, to display your release timeline, generate incident alerts, and surface analytics. We do not sell your data to third parties. We may use aggregated, anonymized data to analyze product usage and guide feature development.
3. Integrations & Third Parties
When you connect third-party services, we exchange data with them only as necessary to enable the integration and only according to your instructions. We do not store credentials for these services — authentication is handled via OAuth tokens with the minimum permissions required.
4. Data Security
We encrypt data in transit using TLS and at rest using industry-standard encryption. Access to production systems is strictly limited and logged. While we take security seriously, no system is impenetrable — if you discover a vulnerability, please report it through your Traken workspace.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it. Workspace owners may also delete individual releases or incidents at any time.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us through your Traken workspace. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies & Analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure. We also use analytics cookies to understand how teams use Traken, which helps us improve the product. You can control analytics cookies through your browser settings.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as Traken evolves. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
